This classic roadside motel, built in 1964, is within walking distance to downtown Savannah and its downtown historic district as well as many other area attractions, and features cozy accommodations. The Thunderbird Inn is conveniently located in close proximity to many popular attractions. The City Market, charming River Street filled with shops, restaurants and festivals as well as Savannah College of Art and Design are all nearby. Guests at the Thunderbird can relax on soft pillow-top mattresses, enjoy spa-quality bath amenities and take advantage of in-room refrigerators. After a peaceful night's sleep, wake up each morning to fresh Krispy Kreme donuts and hot coffee in the lobby. A transportation fee of USD 1.00 per night is collected at check-in. Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am. Please have valid ID and credit card at time of check-in. Please note there is a 50.00 USD fee charged per night if pets accompany guests.
